Add a lab and send work orders

Labs are clinic-wide. Once you add a lab with an email address, every dentist in your clinic can send orders to it in one tap.

Add a lab

Settings → Laboratories → Add lab. Fill in the name (required), email (recommended — without it you cannot send digital orders), phone, default lead time, and the language the lab speaks.

Send a case to the lab

On the case detail sheet, tap Send to lab. We render the work order in the lab's language and email it. The case status flips to Sent and the timeline records the event.

What goes in the email

  • Patient first name + last initial (full name only on personal Share, not lab orders).
  • Work type, tooth/zone, shade.
  • Impression date, sent date, expected return.
  • Your notes verbatim.
  • Reply-to is set to your account email so the lab replies land in your inbox.
Drafts that already have a lab with an email show a Send pill on the case row. One tap from the cases list — no need to open the case.
